The news of Kat's public coming out comes after Dubrow's eldest daughter Max came out as bisexual.

Kat Dubrow is living in her truth.

In a recent feature for People Magazine, the 15-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow and celebrity plastic surgeon/Botched host Terry Dubrow is opening up about what it was like to come out as a lesbian to such a supportive and loving family unit, and getting ready to tell her story on television in an upcoming Housewives episode.

"All I cared about was creating an environment where they all felt safe, comfortable, happy," Heather said to People, retelling the hilarious yet cute story about how Kat came out to the Drubrows in their family group text chat, but she initially missed the message. "Kat decided to drop in our family group text, 'By the way, I'm a lesbian.' I didn't see it, and I was mad because the dogs pooped in the house, so I wrote back, 'Who let the dogs poop in the house?' It was a total mom fail, and they've never let me forget that."

"She's asked me trillions of questions that really show she cares," Kat added about Heather's constant support. "She's asked me about my pronouns. It's really easy to talk to her. It's not like I have to build up courage if I have something to tell her."

Kat's coming out comes on the heels of Heather and Terry's eldest daughter Max coming out as bisexual in early 2020.

"We've got four kids, they are different genders, different sexualities, and all at interesting places in their lives, figuring out who they are and where they belong as humans," Heather said. "I felt like our purpose is to keep those conversations going in other families."

And those conversations IRL are going to be depicted in an upcoming, future episode of RHOC where Kat will be able to discuss her sexuality with her family on camera.

"I was really stressed about it," Kat said about that experience. "But I'm really grateful that I have Max as an older sister, that she has already gone through all of this. Seeing my sister be so proud, and to see her be so comfortable with herself, it just makes me feel like I have nothing to worry about."

Congrats Kat, and welcome to the family!
