Wilson Cruz is working that runway!!!
The Star Trek actor and Out cover star showed that he knows the proper way to strut his stuff when he walked in the Blue Jacket Fashion Show wearing a stylish suit by Loris Diran.
Cruz was taking part in the Blue Jacket Fashion Show, a non-profit fashion show that raises money for Zero, an organization working to end prostate cancer. On his Instagram, he shared a short video of him walking -- and working -- the runway.
"Are you asking me to walk a RUNWAY," Cruz captioned the video, "Mmm... ok. I'll try..." This isn't just trying, this is SUCCEEDING!
Cruz makes his way down the runway, smoothly spinning with style. At the end of the runway he takes the harness he was wearing and bites it between his teeth. (We see you Wilson!!!) Hopefully, this will mean we get to see this Space Daddy on more runways soon!
You can watch the whole show, which also featured celebrity models like Al Roker, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelson, Don Lemon, Mario Cantone, and Nigel Barker, online. After watching, you can donate to Zero to help bring an end to prostate cancer.
Cruz is currently starring in Star Trek: Discovery where he plays Dr. Hugh Culber, one half of the sci-fi franchise's first main character gay couple. His long-term partner, chief engineer Paul Stamets, is played by another legendary out actor, Anthony Rapp. Together, the two are taking chosen families to all new frontiers.
"It's a love letter to all of the chosen families throughout history that we call the LGBTQ+ community," Cruz said in his recent Out cover story. "We've always created these families, these support networks, and I think this is Discovery's way of saying, 'We will always need each other.' It's important to surround yourself with not just the people who you're born to but with people who see all of you, who appreciate all of you, celebrate all of you."
