We've practically grown up with Neil Patrick Harris. From his breakthrough role as a principled child doctor in Doogie Howser: M.D. to his performance as a loveable womanizer in How I Met Your Mother, Harris has matured as an out and proud man before our very eyes.
Harris came out in 2006 and later revealed he had been in a relationship with current husband David Burtka since 2004. They announced their marriage in 2014.
Harris and Burtka revealed they had become the proud parents of twins via a surrogate mother. Son Gideon Scott and daughter Harper Grace were born October 12, 2010.
Since then, Harris has shown us time and again -- who can forget the many times the family won Halloween -- the true meaning of fatherhood, and that families can take many forms and compositions. Here are a few of our favorite family moments of Neil, David, Harper, and Gideon.
