As the Meganaissance continues and we learn more about the woman behind it, we continue to love Megan Fox even more than we already did.
Fox, who is the current digital cover star for Glamour UK spoke in an interview with the magazine about parenting, and how she helps support her oldest son, Noah, who likes to wear dresses.
Fox opened up about a lot of subjects in the interview, ranging from her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, to feminism, to Hollywood. But it was her comments on motherhood and helping her oldest son that really stood out.
"Noah started wearing dresses when he was about two, and I bought a bunch of books that sort of addressed these things and addressed a full spectrum of what this is," Fox said. "Some of the books are written by transgender children, some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want."
"That doesn't even have to have anything to do with your sexuality," she continued. "So from the time they were very young, I've incorporated those things into their daily lives so that nobody feels like they are weird or strange or different."
Fox added that she tries to protect her children, but knows she can't control everything. "I can't control the way other people react to my children," she said. "I can't control the things that other children - that they go to school with - have been taught and then repeat to them."
Still, she's doing her best, and she hopes she can prepare them for the world and all the people in it. "Although my kid is so brave and my child is so brave and I know that they've chosen this journey for a reason, it's just hard as a mom," she said.
In an age when lawmakers are trying to prevent kids from exploring their gender, or even from learning about gender and sexuality in school, we definitely need more parents like Fox.
