Here's Why the Internet Is Irritated With Cara Delevingne RN

Megan Thee Stallion had a great night at this past weekend's 2022 Billboard Music Awards, taking home the trophy for Top Rap Female Artist.

But she wasn't alone in celebrating the night...

Pansexual model and actress Cara Delevingne seemed to be attached to her hip, and a lot of people on the internet are wondering why.

It started on the red carpet, when fans started pointing out that Delevingne's face kept popping up in the background when members of the press were taking pictures of Meg. She even held up Megan's dress' train to help with pictures on the red carpet.

The two were even seated next to each other at the event, so every time the camera picked up on Megan, Cara was right there. Fellow artist Doja Cat was sitting directly in front of the two, and fans were living for every Meg and Doja moment, but wishing Cara wasn't there.

However, we have to wonder if it was actually Megan who brought Cara as her plus one to the event, and that's why they were not only hanging out all night, but also seated next to each other.

It's not even the first time they've been spotted together recently. The two were also seen dancing together at a Met Gala afterparty earlier this month.

As a lesbian journalist, I have to ask: was this a date?? Cara is very much acting like an attentive girlfriend, and every queer woman wishes she could have a chance to simp Megan Thee Stallion like this. Could that explain why Cara is creeping so close to Megan?

After Delevingne split up with her former partner Ashley Benson in 2020, she's been mostly single. She was spotted kissing Sienna Miller back in January, but reports were that the two are just friends.

And back in 2020, Megan publicly revealed that she's also interested in women.

"I'm a free agent on the ladies side," she said in an Instagram Live. "I'm looking for a new girlfriend if anybody trying to be a hot girl. I like petite tings with tattoos, that's my type." (Delevigne has over 20 tattoos on her petite frame.)

Looks like we'll just have to wait and see how this all unfolds in the weeks to come!
