Which MTV 'Teen Wolf' Hotties Will—And Won't—Be in the New Movie?
So what is the cast of 'Teen Wolf' up to nowadays?
For six seasons, MTV's Teen Wolf was one of the biggest shows in America. It truly had the internet in the palm of its hand. With stars like Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, and Colton Haynes, the show also gave fans more than enough to look at and enjoy.
The show ended in 2017, and many of the stars have gone on to have even more iconic roles, with some becoming movie stars and some getting their own TV shows. Thank god, the show's creator Jeff Davis announced last year that several of the original cast members will be coming back for a new Teen Wolf movie! But what have those cast members done after starring in the series? And will they be back for the upcoming film? Let us tell you!

Tyler Posey
Posey played Scott McCall, she show's titular Teen Wolf.
After breaking out on Teen Wolf, Posey appeared in Jane the Virgin as a bisexual man who dates Jane, and starred in the horror movie Truth or Dare. After that, he starred in the shows Now Apocalypse and Scream. He also voices Tony Toretto in the animated Fast & Furious Spy Racers show. Over the past few years he started opening up about his sexuality, coming out as sexually fluid in 2021.
Next up, he's starring in the Teen Wolf movie.
Dylan O'Brien
O'Brien played Stiles Stilinski, Scott's best friend and, if you ask fanfic writers, the love of his life. After Teen Wolf, O'Brien mainly has shifted to movies, starring in the Maze Runner trilogy, American Assassin, voicing the Transformer Bumblebee in his solo film, and appearing in Love and Monsters and Infinite. Next up, he's in the crime drama The Outfit, the comedy satire Not Okay, and the horror film The Vanishings at Caddo Lake.
He declined the invitation to reprise his role, and won't be returning for the Teen Wolf movie.
Tyler Hoechlin
Hoechlin played Darek Hale, an older werewolf from a prominent werewolf family who later became an ally to Scott and his pack. He's since appeared in a few movies, like Fifty Shades Freed and Palm Springs, but his main role has been as the CW's Superman. He's played the character in The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, and his own show, Superman & Lois, which is still airing on the network.
He will return for the Teen Wolf movie.
Colton Haynes
When we first met Haynes' character, Jackson Whittemore, he was mostly known as Lydia's bully boyfriend. But later, he had some huge changes, becoming a reptilian kanima, and later coming out and having a relationship with another werewolf, Ethan. He's since appeared in movies like San Andreas and Rough Night, as well as playing Roy Harper/Arsenal in the CW show Arrow. He's also appeared in other shows like Scream Queens, American Horror Story: Cult, and Dollface. Oh, and don't forget his appearance in Lil Nas X's music video for "Industry Baby."
He will be reprising his role in the Teen Wolf movie.
Charlie Carver
Carver and his twin brother Max played a pair of twin alpha werewolves on the show. His character Ethan eventually started dating Jackson. He's also appeared in The Boys in the Band as Cowboy, When We Rise, and Ratched. He also had a small role in 2022's The Batman. He is not slated to return for the Teen Wolf movie.
Daniel Sharman
This British actor played Isaac Lahey, a beta werewolf bitten by Derek. He's a close friend of Scott's and dates Allison for a while. After he left the show in 2014, he joined The Originals as a recurring character, and joined Fear the Walking Dead as a series regular.
More recently, he played Lorenzo de' Medici in Medici: The Magnificent and played Lancelot in Cursed, a Netflix re-imagining of King Arthur legends. He's not appearing in the Teen Wolf Movie
Cody Christian
Christian played Theo Raeken, a half-werewolf, half-werecoyote chimera. More recently, he is starring in The CW's All American as wide receiver Asher Adams. Christian has also appeared in several movies including Assassination Nation. He won't be in the Teen Wolf movie.
Dylan Sprayberry
Spayberry played Liam Dunbar in Teen Wolf, a talented lacrosse player who was saved by Scott after a Wendigo threw him off the roof of a hospital. After that, he was a werewolf, and a valuable member of the McCall pack.
After Teen Wolf, he took a lead role in another supernatural show Light As a Feather. He's returning as Liam in the Teen Wolf movie.
Ryan Kelley
Playing Jordan Parrish, a young deputy with mysterious supernatural powers later revealed to be a Hellhound. After Teen Wolf, he's had some film roles and TV appearances, including an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. He'll be back for the Teen Wolf movie.
JR Bourne
Bourne played Chris Argent, the father of a family of werewolf hunters whose entire family was lost to supernatural forces. After Teen Wolf, he appeared in a lot of TV shows, including UnREAL, Arrow, The 100, and Mayans M.C., where he had recurring roles. He'll be back for the Teen Wolf movie.
