Johnny Sibilly started to make a name for himself appearing in films and TV shows such as The Closer, Power, Vanilla, and Eye Candy, but one can argue that his true breakout role really came as Costas on Pose.
Since then, Sibilly has become one of the biggest LGBTQ+ stars in Hollywood - going on to star as Wilson on HBO Max's Hacks as well as Noah Hernandez on Peacock's Queer As Folk reboot. In 2020, the Cuban-American actor hosted a talk show series called Logo Live and used his social media platform to get political and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights before, during, and after the most recent presidential election. With 234,000 followers on Instagram as of this writing, Sibilly is reaching a large audience not only for his acting performances and good looks, but also for his sense of humor and social justice efforts.
Sibilly and his Queer As Folk costars were featured on the cover of Out Magazine's May/June 2022 edition, where the actor talked about the importance of Hollywood telling LGBTQ+ stories and how he intends to continue playing queer characters throughout his career.
