It's not a threat, it's a warning.
Cardi B did no mince words with a confused Ariana Grande stan on Twitter who declared her a celebrity "that came out as bisexual but never dated someone of the same gender."
The tweet, which had pictures of Cardi, Grimes, Lady Gaga, and Harry Styles, criticized bisexual celebs (and Harry Styles) for not publicly dating people of their gender in the limited time they've been in the public eye.
"I ate b*tches out before you was born," Cardi replied. "Sorry I don't have Razr phone pics to prove it to you." She also tweeted saying that she had a girlfriend when she was a freshman in high school.
Dammmmnnnnnnnn!
“I ate bitches out before you was born …..Sorry I don’t have razr phone pics to prove it to you 😅😅”— Cardi B (@Cardi B) 1663612104
The original tweet had several follow-ups, including one showing pictures of Lady Gaga with some of the men she's dated, and a list of men that Cardi B has dated, as if that proves that either woman had never been with another woman. There was also a tweet in the thread showing Cardi B kissing one of her dancers in her music video for "Up" along with the caption "the queerbaiting?!?!?"

Obviously, a bisexual woman cannot "queerbait," she's just queer. If she wants to celebrate her sexuality by making out with dancers, that's a bisexual move, not a queerbaiting one.
Also, dating only people of other genders doesn't erase one's bisexuality. Even if a bisexual woman never goes on a date with another woman in her life, she's still a bisexual woman.
Now, this is not to say that queer celebs can't bait their fans only to later reveal the whole thing was a tasteless marketing ploy, but that's an entirely different conversation.
The tweeter also posted a list of "real" bisexual celebs, including Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevigne, and David Bowie.
Several times in his life, Bowie had said that he regretted coming out as bisexual, and said he was "always a closet heterosexual." He also said his bisexuality had been more a product of the times and his position in culture than his actual feelings or sexuality.
Though he has never publicly or explicitly labeled his sexuality, the stan also declared Harry Styles as bisexual on the evidence of him performing his unreleased song "Medicine," which fans "declared a bisexual anthem." Some of the lyrics of the song read, "The boys and the girls are in/I mess around with them/And I'm okay with it."
This isn't Cardi's first time having to clarify her sexuality when accused of queerbaiting. In 2018, she was on the song "Girls" with Rita Ora, Charlie XCX, and Bebe Rexha. The song garnered controversy when out musicians accused the song of queerbaiting, as none of the artists on the song were out at the time.
However, following the controversy, Ora came out as having had romantic relationships with both men and women, and Cardi Bi talked about her experiences as well.
"We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song," Cardi tweeted at the time. "I personally myself had experiences with other woman, shiieeett with a lot of woman! I thought the song was a good song and i remember my experience [sic]."
