Schukraft is best known as the CEO of MISTR (a PrEP telemedicine company with over 350,000 patients); owner of The Abbey in West Hollywood; and recently launched Tryst Hotels in three locations: San Juan (Puerto Rico), Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), and the Fire Island Pines (New York). For these accomplishments — among others — Schukraft was honored as an "Innovator" on the 2024 Out100 list.
Schukraft made history by becoming the first gay public figure to propose to his partner at the South Pole in Antarctica. (It may also be the first gay proposal ever for the region!)
"The coolest 'YES!' in the coldest place," Schukraft wrote in an Instagram post.
Celebs like Jai Rodriguez, Nick Adams, Mayhem Miller, William Kapfer, Jacob Fuszara, Damian Pelliccione, Bruno Alcantara, Eliad Cohen, Kályd Sebastian Odeh, and Alyssa Hunter have all taken to the comments section to celebrate the couple's milestone with adorable messages.
The newly-engaged pair also shared other romantic pictures and videos via Instagram stories, like the two of them holding hands while climbing/rappelling down together.
"Looking forward to a lifetime of mountains to climb with you [heart emoji]," Alexander wrote.

The very next day, Schukraft and Alexander went from chilly Antarctica winds to the warm weather of Cape Town, South Africa — sharing pictures with the stunning view from the top of Table Mountain.
Quite the pair of jet-setting fiancés!
