Congratulations are in order for two of our favorite actors!

It's a marriage of their own!

A League of Their Own creator and star Abbi Jacobson has officially married her partner, Ted Lasso and For All Mankind actor Jodi Balfour!

It's a storybook romance for the pair, who admit that they fell in love at the beginning of their first date.

The two had met virtually in 2020 during the pandemic, and by the time they had their romantic get-together in real life, it was meant to be.

"I had a very complex theory about my own relationship to romance," Balfour told Cultured. "Then I saw Abbi standing just outside her front door and I thought, 'Oh, I love this person. Cool.'"

"I made her walk outside to the backyard by herself so I could have a moment to say to myself, 'Oh God, I'm in love,'" added Jacobson.

Sometime later in their relationship, Balfour was filming in London when Jacobson flew in and brought a toy ring from her childhood. On the last weekend of the trip, she proposed, prompting Balfour to reveal she also had a ring ready.

For their wedding, they wanted something to match the feel of their relationship.

"When we first started texting, I asked Jo what about pre-COVID life she missed most," Jacobson says, revealing that Balfours' answer was "sweaty shoulders."

"After so much distance, we wanted the wedding to feel like that first sweaty shoulder moment – total togetherness," Balfour said. "I think we did that."

On the day of the wedding, the two brides had to pivot, as their planned outdoor wedding was brought inside thanks to rain. But they were happy to embrace the chaos.

"It really was 'one of those nights,'" said Balfour. "We were in a dark wooden room with no windows, an insane sound system, and a disco ball. Everyone’s nice clothes became wet rags. People were smoking who don’t smoke. Our moms did the hora. It was like we all existed in a different dimension for a while."

The ceremony took place at Public Records in New York, and the brides wore dresses off the rack from The Row for the ceremony and changed into vintage Versace chainmail and Vivienne Westwood for the party.

Congratulations to this amazing couple!
