'Euphoria' Stars React to Angus Cloud's Passing
Rest in peace, Angus Cloud.
HBO
Born in Oakland, California, Angus Cloud had his breakout role as an actor upon being cast as Fezco O’Neill in the first season of Euphoria. The character instantly became a fan-favorite and propelled Cloud’s visibility to a global scale.
Unfortunately, Cloud passed away on Monday, July 31 at 25 years of age. According to Variety, the Oakland Fire Department responded to a medical emergency at 11:30 am PT and determined that Cloud was “already deceased” upon arrival. The reason for his passing is still unknown, though new reports suggest that he was struggling with his mental health following the death of his father a week before.
Now, many notable Hollywood A-listers are reacting to Cloud’s passing – particularly his Euphoria costars who are mourning his loss and sharing tributes on social media.
