Ariana Grande's journey in the entertainment industry began with her Broadway debut at a young age — and her passion for the art form continues to thrive!
The Grammy-winning singer, now 30, made a rare public appearance recently to attend a performance of the musical & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York City.
& Juliet is described as a multi-generational tale of self-discovery, empowerment, and love. It reimagines what might have occurred if Juliet hadn't tragically ended her life over Romeo and instead received a second chance at life and love, all on her own terms. The musical incorporates a collection of songs from Max Martin's catalog, including hits like "Since U Been Gone," "Roar," "Baby One More Time," "Larger Than Life," "That's The Way It Is," "Can't Stop the Feeling," and many others.
Notably, Ariana's own song, "Problem," is also featured in the show, adding a personal touch to the experience. Following the performance, Ariana took the opportunity to meet with the cast, including actor Matt Raffy, who expressed his feelings on Instagram.
In an emotional Instagram post, Matt wrote, "I'm [crying and heart emojis] @arianagrande ilysm thank u for all your kind words & all the hugs. I have no words for how magical it was to meet u last night. My hands are cold and sweating, and I'm still processing. Ok bye ily."
Ariana responded with warmth, saying, "What a pleasure to meet you & watch you shine."
