10 Times Fans Threw Things At Artists On Stage
Stop throwing things at singers!
It’s always been a classic move for fans to throw their bras on stage to artists they admire and love, but lately, fans have been taking the idea to dangerous territory. Instead of throwing bras at the feet of artists, fans have been throwing hard objects like phones directly at their faves in a new, disturbing trend.
One of this summer’s strangest trends has seen fans seemingly trying to actually hit the singers they are there to see. Several of these artists have even been injured and had to stop their concerts.
Here are 10 times recently that fans threw things on stage at musicians, disrupting their shows.
1. Bebe Rexha
In June, Pop singer Bebe Rexha was struck in the face when a concert-goer threw his phone directly at her at a concert in Manhattan. The attack split her eyebrow, gave her a black eye, and required stitches.
2. Harry Styles
On July 8, former One Direction singer Harry Styles was performing in Vienna, Austria, when a fan threw something that hit him in the face.
3. Latto
At a festival in Germany in July, a fan threw something at her during her performance. "Want your a-- beat? Throw it again,” she said as she continued her performance. “Throw it again. I’m a beat your a--.”
4. Drake
At the opening night of his It's All a Blur tour in Chicago on July 5, a fan threw a cell phone at Drake while he was singing a slowed-down version of Ginuwine's "So Anxious." The phone hit his arm.
5. Ava Max
In June, a fan jumped onstage at an Ava Max concert in LA. While security was trying to take him away, he slapped Max on the face, scratching her eye.
6. Kelsea Ballerini
Also in June, country singer Kelsea Ballerini was performing in Boise, Idaho when a fan threw a bracelet at her, hitting her in the eye in the middle of a song.
7. Lil Nas X
In July, Lil Nas X was performing when a fan threw a sex toy onstage during his performance of "Down Souf Hoes." After he dodged the toy, he picked it up, grinned, and asked the audience, "Who threw they p**sy on stage?"
8. Drake (again)
Drake's fans have been throwing bras at him throughout the duration of his tour, and one made news when he picked up her bra, and upon discovering the size was 36G, he shouted, "Locate this woman immediately!" More recently, a fan threw her 36L size bra on stage.
9. Pink
When Pink was singing "Just Like a Pill" at a concert in June, a fan threw a bag of their mother's ashes onstage, causing her to look confused and disturbed.
