In one Instagram post, he quotes a fan who said “at least he is not gonna show his [eggplant emoji].” At first Julian nods, but then he looks to the side mischievously as a music sting plays.

He finally made the official announcement on September 22.

I wasn’t kidding this time,” he wrote on Instagram. “I made the account and I’m gonna start posting on October 1st.”

While he promised that he’ll keep posting his “silly benjii content” on Instagram and TikTok, he said he wants to create “some more spicy content for the ones who want to see that too.”

“I have considered this for a while, but the time wasn’t really right I guess… I’m in a place in my life right now where I feel ready and feel like I could actually have fun with this,” he added. “I am honestly looking forward to spice it up a bit, and very much also to connect with you guys on another platform. I’ve been looking forward to starting on a new platform where I will answer everybody who joins!”
