His man, his man, his man!
On Sunday, June 2, Bretman Rock appeared on Quenlin Blackwell's YouTube channel for a new interview/cooking video. During their conversation, Rock opened up about how he met his new boyfriend, Justice Fester, with whom he just went Instagram official to kick off Pride Month.
"Oh my god, my man! Not me soft-launching on your page, girl," Rock replied. "I'll save a little bit of info for my podcast that's coming out. But do you believe in the 'red string theory' or 'the string' theory? Like, kind of 'right person, wrong time'?"
He elaborated, "Basically, I met this man six years ago. I had no business being in the club, [but] we saw each other at the club. I never really hit up on anybody, but I could tell that his friends were telling him to hit me up. [But] he just gave, like, very hetero vibes… and I'm not about to get rejected by a hetero at the club. So I had my cousin Miss K to ask [him] if [he was] straight."

"She asked if he was straight, and he wasn't," Rock continued. "So, you know, I slid in there and I was like, 'What are we drinking?' We took a shot, and then I was putting my lip gloss on and he was like, 'You're making me self-conscious. I feel like my lips are dry.' So, I grabbed his face and kissed him."
Unfortunately, things didn't go smoothly for Rock and Fester right away.
"We went to go grab dinner after, and it was so quiet. It was like 12 of us on one long table, and we were black-out drunk. We got probably five words out of each other. After dinner, one of my friends was like, 'I think he's seeing one of my friends.' So, girl, who is Bretman Rock to be the third f*cking person?! So, I just kind of forgot about him that night… like, byeee!"
Little did Rock know, however, that Fester would come into his life again six years later.
"I was watching Fallout," Rock explains. "I'm a Fallout fan, but the ending was so overwhelming. I had to pause, like, halfway through the ending, and I went scrolling on TikTok. And I see this man's f*cking TikTok, and I'm just staring at it like, 'Why does this b*tch look so familiar?'"
He added, "So I [went] to his Instagram page that [was] linked, and he's private, and I was like, 'I'm ready to risk it all for this man.' I don't ever slide on anybody's DM, but I was about to send this b*tch a DM being like, 'heyyyyy.' But, lo and behold, there was a DM from him six years ago apologizing because he was quiet that night, and [asking if] he could take me out on a date, and I didn't reply."

"So, six years later, I'm like, 'Is that date still on the table?'" Rock recalled. "And [on] that very [same] day, we went on a date. It went really well and it was just one of those moments where I'm like, 'Why do I feel like you've been around in that six years?' Like I feel like we caught up from where we left off… even though we literally left off from the 10 words that we said to each other. But yeah, maybe that and you feel like because you would never rush in to get into no relationship."
Blackwell — who was rumored to be kissing Billie Eilish recently — commented on the fact that Rock is "never rushing to get into a relationship" or someone who constantly talks about how he "needs to find a man."
Rock agreed, adding: "Me needing a man? Girl, excuse me. I am the man, the woman, and the legend."
