Cardi B declares herself 'Dykey B' in studlicious photos
Now some are debating on if the rapper can use the word.
Hip-hop star Cardi B has been open about her bisexuality since the beginning of her career, but new photos the rapper posted on social media really has us seeing the stud fantasy.
On the evening of Thursday, December 12, B shared two images on X/Twitter with the simple caption "Dykey B," replacing her first name with the lesbian slang term. In the photos, the rapper is wearing a white top with an oversized fur coat, baggy jeans, a du-rag, waist chain, and Timberland boots.
The images currently have around 64,000 likes. And it's unclear why, but the caption over on Instagram was different. "Brimmy B," the "Like That" rapper wrote.
While many sapphics are celebrating B's social media moment, some naysayers are slamming her for using the word "dyke." Before it was reclaimed by queers, it was used as a slur by homophones against queer women. Some social media users are fighting over if she's allowed to use the word at all.
Back in 2022 when people doubted her bisexuality, B clapped back at those who didn't believe she was bisexual on social media, writing, "I ate b*tches out before you was born. Sorry I don't have Razr phone pics to prove it to you."
