Since retiring from the National Football League (NFL) and launching the incredible Rayze platform to connect volunteers with organizations, Carl Nassib has appeared in various panels to share his experiences not only in the world of sports, but also as an entrepreneur in the tech industry.
This week, Nassib traveled to the South of France to attend and speak at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. During his downtime, the retired athlete likely went for some fun in the sun and shared a shirtless photo of himself via Instagram.

Earlier this week, @johnny.townsend shared a TikTok video of Nassib speaking at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. During a panel, the history-making NFL star talked about retiring from football in September of 2023 to pursue his company, Rayze.
"We're solving problems like, less and less people are donating to charity; less and less people are volunteering," Nassib explained. "We're a marketplace where we connect nonprofits, businesses, and individuals. I got inspired to do that through volunteering, and I was in Tampa when I first came up with the idea."
He added, "It's been really, really rewarding, connecting people to things that they care about, and connecting people with other people on those same causes. Those are really, really beautiful connections."

Since coming out as gay while still being an active player in the NFL, Nassib has stood firmly in support of the LGBTQ+ community, partnered and raised money for The Trevor Project, and publicly opposed other athletes who used their platforms to spew hatred.
Fans were also tuning into Nassib's personal life as he hard-launched a relationship with Danish swimmer Sørel Dahl and shared multiple adorable posts of them together on social media. In January 2024, however, Nassib and Dahl were reportedly no longer following each other and erased many of their pictures together, which signaled that the couple had broken up.
Since their apparent breakup, Nassib and Dahl have kept relatively low profiles on social media. But nothing like a beautiful day in the south of France to inspire a shirtless mirror selfie for the 'gram, innit? It's officially summer now… and the girls, gays, and theys deserve some fun, damn it!
