“Dropping the OF link… jk!”
Over the years, celebrities have teased and/or joked about the idea of creating an OnlyFans page for themselves. But joining the platform, which is best known for amateur adult content like nudes, thirst traps, and X-rated videos, is considered a big leap that some celebs just aren’t ready for.
While there are several actors, musicians, models, and social media influencers who have capitalized on their audiences and made bank on OnlyFans, this isn’t a platform that benefits all content creators… particularly if they’re still very on the fence about joining it! With that in mind, let’s take a deep dive into the list of celebs who have talked about potentially creating an OF, but ultimately didn’t.
Scroll through to check out the celebrities who teased creating an OnlyFans page but didn’t end up joining the platform after all.
Actor and singer Keiynan Lonsdale teased that he had a link to share “Only 4 my fans” in a series of Instagram posts and stories from November 2023. This clearly felt like a tease that he might joining platforms like OnlyFans or JustForFans. However, it turned out that Lonsdale’s link redirected to his upcoming project, The Heart Defence Mixtape.
Matt Dallas, who’s been married to Blue Hamilton since 2015, is an LGBTQ+ actor who teased creating an OnlyFans but didn’t end up following through. In a video titled “Why OnlyFans,” Dallas discussed the idea of creating a page on the platform. Long story short, though, the video concludes with them saying that they’re not creating an OF as of right now.
Johnny Sibilly is one of the celebrities who’s joked around in the past about creating a page on OnlyFans. Specifically, Hacks and Pose actor responded to a fan urging him to create an OF. “What y’all wanna see?” Sibilly wrote back.
In November 2020, Michael B. Jordan said in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he was joining OnlyFans for a good cause. “I’m actually going to start one,” the actor said on the show. “But all the proceeds I want to go towards a barber school. Because during the quarantine, you know, there’s been so many businesses and schools that shut down.” Alas, Jordan’s OF didn’t come to fruition.
Though Captain America hunk and People's Sexiest Man Alive '22 title holder Chris Evans himself wasn't the one teasing the OnlyFans, a pop culture satire account on X (formerly Twitter) called @DropPopNet bamboozled many thirsty online fans in November of 2024 when they teased that "Chris Evans has officially joined OnlyFans," complete with screenshots of the reported OF page. Unfortunately, it was all too good to be true, as a community note from X points out that the @DropPopNet account was just trolling users with engagement bait.
"No. Chris Evans has not joined OnlyFans," the community noted reads. "It is not the first time this account has posted this "news." If you search on Google, 'Chris Evans has joined OnlyFans,' you will find that it was posted in July and September but was deleted. And it is not their first fake news."
