Chappell Roan reveals she's dating, says she loves 'eating a girl out'

Chappell Roan is 'in love' and has been dating for 6 months.

After an earnest conversation about the importance of being single and not being tied to any one person in particular, Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper felt like she had to ask if Roan was even single. "No," the popstar answered, making them both laugh.

"You're fucking lying to me right now. Chappell! How long?" Cooper asked.

Roan said, "Six months."

"Is it casual?" Cooper asked.

"No, it's serious," Roan explained. "I'm very in love… but I am pro-single. Everyone should be single. I'm serious! Be single. Stop dating. Be single. Have a great time alone. Find out for yourself if you can a hundred percent be okay alone before you date."

She continued, "That's what I found out: I had a great time when I was single, and I know that I'll be okay. And now I have an awesome time that I'm with someone."

Roan also revealed that she met her current partner "through a friend, but it wasn't a setup." When asked who made the first move, Roan noted: "Me. I'm usually the one. In every circumstance, I make the first move."

The singer says she's 'dating the same person' from before she became a Grammy Award-winning global superstar.

"I haven't dated someone since this all really, really blew up," Roan told Cooper during the interview. "I'm dating the same person that I was dating before I got [famous]."

Roan added, "I'm not sure how I would date [a new person] now. I think it'd actually be a nightmare. I think I would be so single right now, because you're terrified of their intentions. I'm scared. I don't trust anyone. I just think, in my head, any new person that I'm texting, I'm like, 'I'm assuming they will screenshot this and send it to someone else.'"

Chappell Roan feels like she was 'fooled' by men and explains that 'eating a girl out' is much easier than she thought.

Chappell Roan also broke things down for Alex Cooper (who is straight) about how "eating a girl out" is much easier than performing oral sex on a guy.

"When I started hooking up with women, I realized how easy it is, actually. I realized how easy it is to eat a girl out, and how this whole time I thought it was, 'Oh, your neck hurts so bad.' I thought, 'Oh… it's, like, hard. My jaw hurts.' You know what's hard? Sucking dick," Roan declared. "Eating a girl out? You can lay down!"

She continued, "I was fooled. I was foolish to think that. Of course it wasn't as hard, what I was doing for them. Of course it wasn't. That's why I would never do anal. Because I was like, 'Then let me peg you.' They would be like, 'Haha, no way.' [I would reply,] 'Why not, we can just try. Let me peg you, and then we can… Maybe we'll try.'"

"But when I started hooking up with women, I was like, 'Fuck you guys.' This is enjoyable, first of all. Second of all: [It's] way, way easier. It's actually fucking crazy. So what, you can't find the clit? Work harder. It may take 10 minutes longer. That's fine."

Cooper: "FaceTimes or phone calls?"

Roan: "I like both! I feel like a lot of Gen Z is just FaceTime instead of call, but I like both."

Cooper: "Late night or morning sex?"

Roan: "Late night. Late night."

Cooper: "Make the first move or be pursued?"

Roan: "Make the first move."

Cooper [considering that Roan doesn't drink anymore]: "Back in the day, drunk sex or high sex?"

Roan: "God, both are awesome. But I'd probably have high sex now."

Cooper: "Wand or rabbit?"

Roan: "I do not fuck with rabbits. I don't fuck with like a lot of them, honestly."

Cooper: "What is your favorite?"

Roan: "I guess wand… or, like, the little rose thing? But it's not the rose."
