Colton Haynes is celebrating six years of sobriety, a major milestone in his ongoing journey of healing!

The out actor, known for his roles in 2010s TV faves like Teen Wolf and Arrow, has been open about his struggles with addiction and mental health. In the past, Haynes turned to alcohol and drugs to cope with the pressures of fame and personal trauma, but now he is on a new and healthy journey, and taking to his social media to share how far he's come!

In 2019, he hit a breaking point that resulted in hospitalizations, both from overdoses and from trying to manage his mental health. He shared his struggles on Instagram, acknowledging that the pressure to be perfect in Hollywood contributed to the issue. But rather than stay silent, Haynes chose to confront his issues head-on and open up about his road to sobriety and how it has transformed his life.

Since then Haynes has used his platform to spread awareness about addiction and mental health, offering inspiration to fans who might be facing similar challenges. He’s spoken about the importance of seeking help, breaking the stigma surrounding these topics and how recovery has given him a new chance a life!
