These new pics of Daniel Franzese & Lindsay Lohan's 'Mean Girls' reunion are healing our souls

Original Mean Girls star Daniel Franzese is celebrating his recent reunion with Cady Heron herself, Lindsay Lohan!
As you probably remember, last November, Walmart released a new ad bringing together a bunch of the original Mean Girl cast, including Lohan, Franzese, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried, and Rajiv Surendra. Now, Franzese is sharing some behind-the-scenes pics from that day.
Franzese posted several pictures of him and Lohan on Instagram, including several where he’s wearing the famous pink shirt that he lent to Cady so on Wednesday, she could wear pink. Finally, he got it back!
The commercial served as a de facto sequel to the original movie, picking up twenty years later, showing Cady as the school counselor, Gretchen as the new “cool mom,” and Karen as a meteorologist.
Mean Girls is enjoying a renaissance this year, on the 20th anniversary of the original movie. After the commercial in November, a new, musical version of the movie came out in January.
In the new version, which combines the original and the Broadway musical, Janis is canonically a lesbian, who was bullied for being gay by Regina.
The 2024 Mean Girls stars Reneé Rapp as Regina George, Angourie Rice as Cady, Auli’i Cravalho as Janis, and Jaquel Spivey as Damien. It’s currently streaming on Paramount+.Instagram (@whatsupdanny)
