Archuleta became a household name after finishing as the runner-up of American Idol season seven. Over the years, the gays always had a thing for Archuleta, but kept it to themselves given how religious the singer had been. In April 2021, Archuleta shared an emotional social media post coming out of the closet, opening the doors to a swarm of LGBTQ+ fans who were rooting for him all along.

This week, Archuleta shared a new TikTok video showing off a new hickey that he got. The American Idol alum said in the video:

“To the girl employee at Walgreens who taught me about the green concealer first, and then applying the skin tone after, thank you.”

Unsurprisingly, Archuleta’s new video sparked a huge reaction from gays on social media. One X/Twitter user, @jayceintime, re-shared the TikTok video and wrote:

“Leaving the daddy’s hotel room, the hickey cover-up, the freshly out and away from the grasp of the Church. Oh he’s in his getting TURNED OUT era.”
