Diplo might've gone viral for revealing that he was under the influence of LSD during an interview with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on CNN's New Year's Eve telecast, but the DJ also celebrated 2025 by sharing a very "not not gay" video of three shirtless guys kissing one another.
The music producer and DJ had a very busy day between performing at multiple festivals, doing interviews on live television, and keeping up with his social media. Over the course of New Year's Eve, Diplo also re-shared an Instagram video that showed three men exchanging kisses between themselves.
Under regular circumstances, it wouldn't be unusual for the "Where Are U Now" producer to be sharing all sorts of pictures and videos on New Year's Eve. However, it did stand out that Diplo chose to add his own caption to the video:
"Me at midnight."

The three guys who appear in this kissing video reposted by Diplo aren't complete strangers on the internet. In fact, they're all content creators with a predominant audience consisting of queer men.
The original poster of the Instagram reel, @spencerstew0, is a man called Spencer Stewart (who also uses "Braxton" as a stage name) and appears on the rightmost side of the video. Stewart currently has 321,000 followers on X/Twitter (@braxtonstonevip), 120,000 followers on TikTok (@spencerstew1), and 73,000 followers on Instagram. He also maintains an active OnlyFans page (@braxtonvipx) where he describes himself as a "Str8 [straight] G4P [gay for pay] muscle jock" in the bio.
The person in the middle/center of the video is Luke Toma, otherwise known as Leo Levine on certain platforms. Toma has 153,000 followers on X/Twitter (@leolevine69), 22,000 followers on Instagram (@luketomaaa), and an OnlyFans profile (@leosvault) where he teases "guy/guy collabs" of different kinds.
The leftmost side of the video shows Dawson Bacon, otherwise known as Drake Von. Bacon also has a significant online following consisting of 1.3 million followers on X/Twitter (@DrakeVonXXX), 122,000 followers on Instagram (@dahzun1), and an OnlyFans page (@drakevonxxx) that advertises "gay, bi, sex amateur videos" in its description.
All three men in the kissing video have places like Las Vegas and the state of Florida as places of residence on their respective social media pages. In case you didn't know, Diplo has always discussed his connection to Florida as someone who attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando and even got a tattoo of the state on his arm — which is visible on several shirtless pictures shared by him (as seen below).
It's also noteworthy that Diplo has been casually opening up about his sexual forays with both men and women over the years.
In 2014, Diplo participated in a Reddit AMA and answered a question about whether he was gay. "Everyone is a lil gay," the DJ replied. In 2018, he appeared in a passionate kissing scene with drag queen Pabllo Vittar for her "Então Vai" music video. A few years later, in 2023, Diplo famously told Emily Ratajkowski's on her High Low podcast that he's "not not gay," adding that he has received oral sex from another man before.
Diplo's latest studio album, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: The Mixtape, is available on all music streaming services.
