Best known for working on hit songs like Justin Bieber’s “Where Are U Now,” Ellie Goulding’s “Close to Me,” Silk City and Dua Lipa’s “Electricity,” and Major Lazer’s “Lean On,” Diplo is one of the most critically and commercially successful DJs and music producers of our time.
Throughout his career, Diplo has formed duos and groups such as Major Lazer (with Walshy Fire and Ape Drums), LSD (with Labrinth and Sia), Jack Ü (with Skrillex), and Silk City (with Mark Ronson). He has also worked with musicians like Madonna, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Bad Bunny, and Snoop Dogg, to name a few.
Over time, Diplo has talked about “everyone being a little gay” on social media, and recently said in an interview that he is “not not gay” – claiming that he’s even received oral from a guy in the past. Given this self-declared sexual fluidity from Diplo, the LGBTQ+ community is now keeping an even closer eye on him.
