Prime Video's live-action adaptation of The Boys comic books has featured LGBTQ+ characters and queer-coded storylines since its first season. But one question that lingered within the fandom involved Frenchie, a mysterious and charming character played by actor Tomer Capone.
In the series, it was always suggested that Frenchie wasn't exactly straight. Though we never saw or heard him identify otherwise before season 4, Frenchie was known for making little comments that came off as a man who could be fluid about his sexuality. Then, the first episode of The Boys season 4 introduced a new male character who was romantically linked to Frenchie — which delighted many fans, including us!
That new character, Colin, was immediately established as a sweet, caring, and very handsome man played by the wonderful Elliot Knight. Prior to The Boys, he was best known for playing Brady on American Gothic, Merlin on Once Upon a Time, Wes Charles on Life Sentence, and Don Hall (a.k.a. Dove) on Titans.
Knight, who was born in Birmingham, United Kingdom, is also well-known for voicing the character of Kyle Garrick in several Call of Duty games. In recent years, the actor starred in the Your Lucky Day thriller alongside the late Angus Cloud, and even appeared in the third season of Hacks.
