The Jersey Shore star and the former Bachelorette used to flirt, but now he says he says he's happy for her after coming out!

The Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino is a big softy!

Guadagnino used to have a flirtatious relationship with Gabby Windey, but since the Bachelorette star announced she’s dating a woman earlier this week, he’s been nothing but happy for her.

The 32-year-old reality TV star publicly came out and revealed she’s been dating comedian and writer Robby Hoffman through an Instgram post full of adorable photos of the couple and captioned, “Told you I’m a girl’s girl!”

Guadignino and Windey hit it off when they first met on the set of Dancing With the Stars season 31 and started DMing each other. In December, Windey called a romance between the two “a possibility,” then in April she admitted they were still talking and described their relationship as “kind of a thing.”

For his part, Guadignino played down the whole relationship, telling People, “It was just a rumor off of, like, two Instagram emojis.”

Despite this brief flirtation, the Jersey Shore star couldn’t be happier to see Windey living her authentic life.

“I did the [Dancing With the Stars] tour with [Gabby] a few months ago and it was funny because she was so stressed out on that tour because she did every single date,” he told Us Weekly at the Jersey Shore Family Vacation premiere party. “But after seeing this today I’m so happy to see her be happy and live her truth and to see her face again.”

Since then, Windey appeared on The View to discuss her new relationship.

“I always just want to live my truth, and my story,” she said. “And so I have been seeing someone for a couple months, and I’ve been keeping it a little more private because it is like a bigger story and a bigger conversation, because I’m dating a girl!”
