At the annual Rise Up LA event this past Friday, so many of our fave queer celebrities (and allies!) came together to raise awareness and funds for GLSEN, the "leading education organization dedicated to creating safe and inclusive K-12 schools and learning environments for LGBTQ+ youth!"
Queer Eye's Bobby Berk, Community and GLOW star Alison Brie, Star Trek icon and GLSEN board co-chair Wilson Cruz, Glamorous and Fire Island's Zane Phillips, content creator Gigi Gorgeous, and so many more A-Listers showed up and showed out at NeueHouse Hollywood to underscore the good work GLSEN does in supporting the next generation of LGBTQ+ youth, and the educators helping make that mission happen!
And one of the highlights of the night was when Emmy-winning Abbott Elementary actress Sheryl Lee Ralph accepted the org's Champion Award.
"Anybody that can help you with your wig, weave, wef, and wardrobe problems deserves to be remembered," Ralph said in her speech while accepting the award. "All of you remember somebody died for you, somebody walked for you, somebody cried for you, and I will fight for you."
Scroll through to see more pictures from the night! And for more information on GLSEN, make sure to visit their official website, GLSEN.org!
