Who Is Taylor Lewan, the Mystery Man Jeffree Star Has Been Teasing?

Jeffree Star spent weeks teasing that he had been spending time with his “NFL boo” as of late. In a different post, Star wrote that this mysterious athlete wasn’t playing in the Super Bowl but “plays perfect in the bedroom.”

It’s now been revealed that this NFL player is Taylor Lewan, and that Star is not in a relationship with him. Instead, the YouTuber and makeup mogul has just been promoting a podcast with Lewan the entire time.

Lewan is a 31-year-old football tackle who has played for the Tennessee Titans since 2014. Born in Sacramento, California, Lewan currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Taylin, and their two daughters. Aside from football, Lewan cohosts a podcast titled Bussin’ With the Boys alongside fellow NFL athlete Will Compton.

It turns out that this entire mystery created by Star was meant to promote the makeup guru’s appearance on Bussin’ With the Boys – not that Star is actually dating an NFL star (who, again, is happily married to a woman and lives with his wife and daughters).

Lewan has always played for the Tennessee Titans since joining the NFL in 2014. That same year, he was involved in controversies that included misdemeanor charges for drunk and disorderly conduct, as well as charges for assault and battery. With that said, Lewan has clearly turned things around as he continued to play football, built a family, and launched a podcast in the years that followed.

Given that Star made such a big fuss about his attachment to Lewan (only to then reveal that he was doing a podcast with the NFL player), one has to wonder if they’ll collaborate on other projects in the coming months. Who knows, maybe a football-themed makeup collab is in the works at Jeffree Star Cosmetics?
