The Iron Claw'sJeremy Allen White made the gays go absolutely feral when his Calvin Klein underwear campaign dropped early this month, but now the bear lovers out there have had their fantasies come to life, too, with a new ad from an unexpected source.
German beer company BRLO is celebrating Dry January with a spoof of White's viral CK ad, replacing The Bear actor with a gay bear!
Just to jog your memory, the original ad features White running up a flight of stairs to a rooftop, stripping off his tank top and shorts, leaving him to workout in just a pair of Calvin Klein boxer briefs and a pair of white tennis shoes.
Honestly, we're not sure what happens after that…we should all go watch it a few more times!
The craft beer maker made a nearly identical ad starring out gay actor Gerrard Woodward, a stocky, hairy-chested, bearded redhead who fits the bear definition to a T.
In the BRLO ad, he strips down, too, first showing off his briefs before removing them altogether. The original ad ends with White flopping onto a couch, showing off his *ahem* well-defined bulge, but in the spoof, Woodward lays down on a nearly identical red couch with only pixels to keep the ad from being NSFW.
Is it getting hot in here, or are we the only ones feeling thirsty?
The Berlin-based beer company's parody is advertising their alcohol-free NAKED beer, a product BRLO specifically wanted to market to gay men, The Instinct reports. "We say: Get NAKED. You say: Yes, chef!" their Instagram caption reads, playing off of White's role as Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto on The Bear. "Then, clearly describing both the way the beer tastes and the way Woodward looks, the brand continued, "Our BRLO NAKED has come to quench your thirst. Full-bodied, juicy and without tomorrow's headache, our alcohol-free option goes beyond January. Yes, Chef!"
The fans in the comments section we're drooling just as much as we were, with one person writing, "We need the unpixed version!" Yes, yes we do!
"What's his number tho," another person quipped.
"Ginger sex god Gerrard," someone wrote.
"I want the Model and the beer," another fan commented. Same.
So, depending on where you fall on the spectrum between lusting after ripped and muscular guys to burly and cuddly, there is an ad that will flood your basement!
