Tiger King star and infamous big cat breeder Joe Exotic has announced that he is once again a married man.
Exotic posted a picture of himself and another man wearing suits and standing under a trellis of flowers to announce his new marriage. Out cannot confirm if the picture is real or AI.
"Never been more proud of someone," he wrote. "Meet my husband, Jorge Flores Maldonado."
Joe Exotic, real name Joseph Maldonado, was convicted of 17 counts of animal abuse and two counts of attempted murder for hire for trying to kill Big Cat Rescue founder Carole Baskin in 2020.
In 2021, his sentence was changed from 22 to 27 years to 21 years. He is currently serving his sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was the center of Netflix's uber-popular docuseries
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, which was released in 2020.
Back in 2024, Exotic posted on X that he got engaged to Flores, whom he identified as Jorge Marquez at the time.
"Meet Jorge Marquez he is 33. He is so amazing and is from Mexico," Exotic wrote. "Now, the quest of getting married in prison and getting him asylum or we be leaving America when we both get out. Either way, I wish I would have met him long ago."
He also told Entertainment Weekly at the time that the couple had filed papers to get a marriage license, and were waiting for it to be approved "by the warden and psychiatry and the chaplain."
"We love each other very much, spend every minute of the day together," Exotic told EW. "I've been through some sh*t in my days. I buried two husbands, the third one ran off with 2.6 million bucks from Netflix and left my ass here, but Jorge is a very amazing young man."
Exotic has been married several times before. His first partner, Brian Rhyne, died of complications from HIV in 2001, and at one time, he married two partners at once: John Finlay and Travis Maldonado.
After he broke up with Fiinlay and Maldonado fatally shot himself, Exotic married Dillon Passage in 2017. Exotic and Passage divorced in 2023.
