Helping out the other girls? Very demure!

Helping your friend with housing? Now that's as demure as it gets!

TikTok star and viral "demure" trend queen Jools Lebron has even more great news to share about her success following the explosion of the "demure" trend online.

In a new TikTok, Lebron posted: "My bestie has been deeply struggling with her mental health because of her living situation and thanks to demure I'm able to rent her my extra bedroom in my new apartment. We're leaving the hood baby, you're safe now."

Helping your friends? Very mindful, very demure, diva!

Lebron is one of the trans influencers, along with others like Selyna Brillare and Devin Halbal, who started and spread the "demure" trend far and wide across social media.

The trend, where people like Lebron explain how to be "demure," "very mindful," and "modest and respectful" in situations like job interviews, deboarding an airplane, and hooking up.

It both serves as real life advice, and a commentary on how women, especially trans women of color, are expected to perform gender, both in public and in private.

As Lebron explained in one of her videos, being demure "is just a way of life for the girls, for the dolls" and cited Venus Xtravaganza, one of the subjects of the documentary Paris Is Burning as an early progenitor of the trend.

She previously updated her followers with the great news that thanks to sponsorships, collaborations, and jobs she got from popularizing the trend, she is going to be able to finance the rest of her transition.

"One day, I was playing cashier and making videos on my break, and now, I'm flying cross country to host events, and I'm going to be able to finance the rest of my transition," she said in a TikTok.

Now, she's able to do even more. Keep it up, girl!
