Turns out the stars of Netflix’s Queer Eye might not spend as much time together off-screen as we thought.
Show star Karamo Brown recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s radio show to spill the tea on why he — and most of the Fab 5, besides Tan France — did not attend fellow casemate Antoni Porowski’s bachelor party.
Cohen noted that he’d recently spoken to costar Bobby Berk about why he wasn’t there, who made it seem like a scheduling conflict. To this, Brown said, "Listen, I'm all about being real and being upfront. We weren't invited."
Despite not being on the guest list, Brown emphasized that there were no hard feelings about not making the cut. He explained, "When it comes to events like that, like family things, weddings, it costs money, so I don't take offense to it."
When Cohen inquired about the Fab 5's potential invitation to the wedding itself, Karamo responded confidently, "I assume so, but if we were not, I would be okay. People who get married, you understand what it costs per plate, and when you have family members doing things…"
Cohen interjected, pointing out that those same cost considerations might not apply to a bachelor party involving glamping. Brown agreed but maintained, "I didn't take any shade to it."
When asked if he would invite Porowski to his own bachelor party, Brown bluntly stated, “I would not,” explaining, "I drink. I'm doing a shroom. I'm having a good time, and he's not… He's sober, so I'm not gonna invite you girls so that you can be over in the corner sober. Like, no. So again, no shade."
