Kit Connor (Heartstopper, Rocketman) and Charles Melton (May December, Riverdale) are costars in the upcoming A24 film Warfare. During a promotional event, Connor and Melton shared an on-screen kiss… and the gays are losing their minds, let's just say that!

Written and directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland, Warfare is set in 2006 during the Iraq War. Connor plays Tommy (a gunner), whereas Melton plays Jake (an assistant officer in charge).

One would probably not assume that the promo cycle for a film like Warfare could include a kiss between Connor and Melton — but here we are, the gays are already shipping this potential showmance between the actors.

While a short clip of this kiss has already gone viral across social networks, the moment happened in a behind-the-scenes video from Entertainment Weekly shared on TikTok.

Overall, the cast of Warfare seems to have bonded so much that several actors in the film even got a "group tattoo" that reads "Call on Me" — a clear reference to the 2004 hit song by Eric Prydz.

In fact, during that same story for Entertainment Weekly, the cast revealed that they've come up with very interesting nicknames for each other: Connor is "Baby Face," Melton is "Top," Will Poulter is "Daddy," Joseph Quinn is "Funcle," Taylor John Smith is "Lamb Bone." And even the director of Warfare, Ray Mendoza, got a few nicknames: first "Baby Ray," and later "DP."

Besides Connor, Melton, Smith, Poulter, and Quinn, the A24 movie also features a star-studded cast with some of the biggest "internet babygirls" of our time. The cast includes names Andrew Macdonald, Allon Reich, Matthew Penry-Davey, Peter Rice, D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Cosmo Jarvis, Finn Bennett, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, Henrique Zaga, among others.

Category is: make love, not war!

Warfare opens April 11 in theaters.
