Quite a few LGBTQ+ couples have already tied the knot in 2023, and we couldn’t be happier for them!
Marriage is a strong commitment and a landmark moment for any relationship, so it’s always great to celebrate these occasions and spotlight the beautiful love stories between these LGBTQ+ celebrities.

Survivor alum Zeke Smith and Superstore actor Nico Santos got married in Palm Springs, California on November 4, 2023. The pair had been dating for almost six years and decided to tie the knot. Smith told People:
“We own a home together and have a joint bank account. We’re each other’s emergency contacts. By all sorts of usual metrics, we are married. But actually having the ceremony, making it legal, it’s about becoming a family. We’re in it forever. Through thick and thin and easy and hard. We’re going to be the person that’s there for the other one.”
In August, out country singer Ty Herndon tied the knot with partner Alex Schwartz during a fabulous ceremony and reception at Owen Farm, just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
Over 300 guests were in attendance, including Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth, who is a good friend and collaborator of Herndon's.
In August, comedian and actor Matteo Lane took to Instagram to share the news that he and dancer Rodrigo Aburto tied the knot.
Simply captioned with two ring emojis, the 37-year-old shared a carousel of pictures that feature him and Aburto holding hands and being just all around adorable!
In late July, the Fire Island and How to Get Away with Murder star shared a joint post on Instagram with his partner, Peter Wesley, revealing that they had both tied the knot at the City Hall in New York and they they would both be taking each other's last names.
In late July, RuPaul's Drag Race season 11 winner Yvie Oddly took to her Instagram account to share the news to her fans and followers that she had officially tied the knot with her partner Doug Illsley.
"Last week I got married to some guy I met on Grindr..." Oddly captioned the post, which was a touching carousel of pics from the big day where the two made their vows to each other.
After dating for six years, Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying has tied the knot with his longtime partner Mark in July 2023. Hoying proposed in April 2022 and told People, "I knew pretty early on that Mark was my dream man and I genuinely feel like the luckiest man on earth to get to marry him." The wedding ceremony took place at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California and included guests like Colton Haynes, Betty Who, Adam Rippon, and Brittany Broski.
The Bachelor alum and the political strategist tied the knot on May 13, 2023 during a three-day-long celebration in Napa Valley, California.
"We wanted to break some of the traditional norms of what a ceremony and a wedding look like," Underwood told People of their outdoor ceremony and disco-themed pool party, which was attended by 200 people. "And for the entire weekend, we recognize that a lot of people attending, both of our families and some of our friends, this will be their first queer wedding. We really want to make it special."
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause announced during a reunion episode of the hit Netflix reality series – which aired in May 2022 – that she was in a relationship with Australian musician G Flip. Now, People has confirmed that Stause and Flip are officially married. Stause wrote in a May Instagram post: “Love doesn’t always go as planned… sometimes it’s immeasurably better.”

It didn’t take very long for The White Lotus actor Lukas Gage and celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton to start dating, make their relationship public, get engaged, and tie the knot. Gage and Appleton got married on April 24, 2023 at a secret wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. This couple is the ultimate proof of the saying, “when you know, you know.”

The Real Friends of WeHo star Joey Zauzig married Brian Grossman on April 21, 2023. The reality star wrote on Instagram: “Officially husbands [heart emoji]. We decided while in our favorite place in the world we would make it official! We talked a bunch about what our wedding would look like and where it would be - but decided that it was about us and sharing our love together.”
He continued: “The wonderful Rosewood team helped us put together the most perfect ceremony and celebration with less than 48 hours to plan - and we got to do it our way and be really present in the moments of the evening. We laughed, we cried, we danced and are still smiling. Of course at some point we will celebrate with family and friends but this just felt right, and it was the best night of our lives and something we will never forget on our journey as partners.”
On March 29, 2023, country music star Lily Rose tied the knot with Daira Eamon.
“We wanted to get married in Nashville because it was our home together,” Rose told People. “We wanted all of our family and friends to come to celebrate us here.” The pair got married at a venue called The Bridge Building, with Rose wearing a custom suit from Indochino.
Social media influencer Cammie Scott has gotten married to Taryn Arnolds. The wedding took place on March 4, 2023 in California. They started dating back in 2015, and then got engaged in November 2021.
Despite still dealing with a divorce, Braunwyn Windham-Burke tied the knot with Jennifer Spinner in a Las Vegas ceremony. The couple told Page Six that, while the marriage isn’t yet legally binding due to the reality star’s divorce proceedings, it still felt like something that meant a lot to them.
“It just felt like a really fun way to sort of commit to each other,” Spinner added.
This year was kicked off with a beautiful marriage between Broadway star McKinley Belcher III and Blake Fox, who tied the knot on January 18, 2023.
“We’ve grown so much together, I’ve longed for the moment where we get to commit to each other, celebrate our love in front of our friends and family. The love we’ve found is a singular thing, that I dreamt and hoped I’d find in the right partner,” Belcher told People.
Shane Dawson, of YouTube fame, got married to Ryland Adams in January 2023.
“We’re married!” Dawson announced on Instagram. “The best day of my life.”
