According to CNN, Payne died after falling from the third floor of a Buenos Aires hotel.
Argentinian police said in a statement that Payne's death occurred in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires on Costa Rica Street. His body was found in the courtyard of the Casa Sur hotel.
Reuters reports that local newspapers La Nacion and Clarin "reported that police were called to the hotel" in response to an emergency call that cited "an aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol."
