Though many women have been objectified in film, television, and live theater over the years, the full exploration of male bodies hasn't been as prominent in mainstream media up until recent years.

But times are a-changing, and nude scenes are slowly becoming more commonplace for people of all genders, rather than only subjecting actresses to show skin. This has also led to more considerate evaluations of whether nudity is indeed necessary to tell a particular story, or if the reasons for it aren't exactly clear.

In the last few decades, certain actors have taken it all off for their craft and showed up completely naked in movies, TV shows, and theater productions. Though there's always some discourse surrounding which actors used their real genitals for a scene (and which of them had prosthetics instead), it's all about delivering a performance for viewers who are willing to suspend their disbelief. For all intents and purposes, these actors had full frontal scenes — and we were there to see them.

Barry Keoghan plays the curious and obsessed character of Oliver Quick in Saltburn, where he stars opposite Jacob Elordi (playing Felix Catton). Fans might not have expected this, but Keoghan does have a full-frontal scene in the Emerald Fennell film.
