We're looking… respectfully!
Manu Ríos joined the cast of Netflix's Élite as the character of Patrick Blanco Commerford in season 4. Though he was introduced as a major obstacle for fan-favorite queer couple Omar Shanaa (Omar Ayuso) and Ander Muñoz (Arón Piper) — and we were all very annoyed! — Patrick eventually evolved into a fully developed character and served as the main LGBTQ+ character of the series following Piper and Ayuso's respective departures from Élite (Ayuso did return to the show in season 7).
In the fifth season of Élite, fans got to know André Lamoglia in the role of Iván Cruz Carvalho. Patrick and Iván get romantically evolved, but it's an extremely messy relationship that has both of them cheating and hurting each other in different ways. Ríos eventually chose to leave Élite, but Lamoglia has been confirmed to appear in the eighth and final season of the series.
Ríos and Lamoglia reunited in Guadalupano, Mexico a few weekends ago to attend the 11th annual Platino Awards and sent fans into a frenzy. To make matters even more titillating, Ríos recently shared a video of him and Lamoglia bouldering via Instagram stories — and if you're anything like Sir Mix-a-Lot, you're probably gonna love this!
