Who's after Peppermint?!
The second season of The Traitors just premiered on Peacock and fans are already gagged over all of the drama that's gone down.
Sadly, beloved RuPaul's Drag Race alum and finalist Peppermint was the first contestant banished from the castle and it's not sitting well with audiences.
Fans of The Traitors are well aware that contestants are meant to backstab and go after one another, but Peppermint is still having a tough time understanding her early elimination.
Trishelle Cannatella, known from The Real World and The Challenge, accused Peppermint of being a traitor early in the competition.
It all went down when Cannatella made a joke about Peppermint being a traitor, but then claimed Peppermint's reaction to her joke was dramatic. Therefore, Cannatella speculated to everyone in the castle that Peppermint was an actual traitor.
"I felt like I was betrayed. For her to turn a really innocent, fun moment talking about fashion into this devious revelation that I'm some traitor was really strange to me," Peppermint tells Out.
Peppermint also felt very alienated from the very start of filming without anyone to align with. She was the only contestant from Drag Race on the season.
"I felt like the one person who didn't really have connections to not even one other person in the house. I think I could have been a really great ally to someone like Trishelle or any of the other people in the house."
Even though Peppermint has every right to feel hurt regarding her elimination, the queen is exclusively revealing that a feud with Cannatella actually picked up after the show wrapped filming.
"There wasn't a feud with us in that house. She ignited something that could be perceived as a feud after having left the castle. Maybe this is an opportunity for her to show how close she really is to the LGBTQ+ community. She can do something."
The Traitors is streaming now on Peacock. To see the full interview with Peppermint, check out the video below.
