Six-pack abs, for winter? Actually groundbreaking.

Rafael L. Silva is best known for playing law enforcement officer Carlos Reyes on 9-1-1: Lone Star. In season four, the character finally got married to TK Strand (played by Ronen Rubinstein) on the show.

Fox renewed 9-1-1: Lone Star for a fifth season, which has been delayed to the fall of 2024 due to the WGA and SAG strikes of 2023. Nonetheless, Silva recently took to social media to show that he’s definitely working on his fitness, even during these colder fall and winter months.

In two Instagram stories, the actor shared mirror selfies of himself in what appears to be a public restroom. In one picture, Silva is all dressed up with a few layers of clothing. In another photo, though, Silva pulled his shirt up to show off his pecs, abs, and a tease of his Puma underwear.

The actor has also been growing his beard – which is different from his clean-shaven Carlos look on 9-1-1: Lone Star. We’re not hyperventilating, you are!

Fans have long been shipping the characters of TK and Carlos with the nickname “Tarlos.” Earlier this year, the couple became a Jeopardy! question, which is a pretty fierce milestone for cultural awareness and popularity.

Besides 9-1-1: Lone Star, Silva has been seen on shows like The Corps and Madam Secretary. He also appeared in 2019’s Linda Yellen film Fluidity starring Tommy Dorfman, Nico Tortorella, and Isabella Farrell.

We’re really excited to see married Tarlos in season five of 9-1-1: Lone Star. In the meantime, we have to thank Rafael L. Silva and Ronen Rubinstein for their wonderful social media updates!
