A very happy Father's Day to Russell Tovey, who's a great parent to his adorable dog.

Best known for his roles on TV shows such as Looking, Being Human, and American Horror Story: NYC, Tovey just wrapped his performance as John O'Shea on FX's Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans and is set to appear in the gay drama film Plainclothes with Tom Blyth.

Thankfully, Tovey didn't skip out on celebrating Father's Day in 2024, sharing a picture with his fur baby. "Dad," the actor wrote in the Instagram story.

This is an objectively adorable picture of Tovey and his dog, but we'd be lying if we didn't note how Tovey fits in these pants. The thighs are thigh-ing, the bulge is bulging, and that's all we're gonna say about that!

In addition to his on-screen work as an actor, Tovey cohosts an award-winning podcast about art — appropriately titled Talk Art Podcast — with Robert Diament.

There's an entire other side to Tovey that his fans from Looking and American Horror Story might not be familiar with: he's actually very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about art. To make matters even better, he's able to have fun and insightful discussions about art without sounding pretentious or pompous, which is refreshing.

We love keeping up with the Looking fan-favorite through social media, but don't get it twisted: we will be seated for Plainclothes, opening weekend!
