Russell Tovey is showing his Looking co-star Jonathan Groff some Tony's love!
Groff, who won the Tony for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his role in Merrily We Roll Along this past weekend, got some love from Tovey on Instagram in a way that only a longtime friend can show love.

On his Instagram stories, Tovey shared a picture from what looks like about a decade ago of him with his arm around Groff, the two men smiling at each other.
"Congratulations on your Tony Groff – I love you xx," Tovey wrote.
The two actors starred together in the short-lived but impactful HBO series Looking, which aired from 2014-2016.
Groff was the lead of the show, playing Patrick Murray, a video game designer, and Tovey was Kevin Matheson, Patrick's boss, and in the second season, his love interest. Now, he's sending that love to Groff in a new way.
In his speech accepting his Tony, Groff thanked the New York theater community.
"And finally, I just want to say that when I was a kid in Pennsylvania, I used to record the Tony Awards on a VHS tape and watch the performances over and over again," he said. "And to actually be able to be a part of making theater in this city and just as much to be able to watch the work of this incredible, incredible community, has been the greatest gift and pleasure of my life. I thank you and thank you so much for this honor."
