It's no music video, but the internet went wild this week with the release of a new collab between pop royalty Beyoncé and iconic denim brand Levi's.
In the brand's newest ad campaign, set to Queen Bey's song "Levii's Jeans" from her latest album Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé walks into a laundromat wearing a white crop top, some classic blue Levi's, and a denim cowboy hat.
The laundromat also has a nice shoutout to Beyoncé's late Uncle Jonny, who designed and made most of the clothes she wore early in her career and helped expose her to culture and music. There's a sign in the laundromat reading "Fine Tailoring by Uncle Jonny," nodding to the man Beyoncé dedicated her Renaissance album to.
In the ad, she saunters up to a laundry machine, takes off her jeans, revealing a pair of white underwear, and tosses the jeans into the machine along with a bucket of diamonds.
Several people are watching, but the one who jumped out at us was the mysterious male model who's doing his own laundry, but gets distracted when Bey undresses.
While he's only in the ad for a second, he left quite the impression on us! So, of course, we had to look him up, and it turns out, his name is fittingly Levi Dylan.
Who is Levi Dylan?
Levi Dylan is a 30 year old actor and model who has appeared in the movies Mighty Oak and 12 Mighty Orphans.
He's also done modeling for Lee Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Paco Rabanne, and appeared on the cover of Esquire Spain.
He's also the son of musician Jakob Dylan, the lead singer of the alt-rock band The Wallflowers, who's 1997 song "One Headlight" won two Grammys.
This means he's also the grandson of legendary musician Bob Dylan, one of the greatest songwriters of all time.
Where will Levi Dylan turn up next? Maybe in a laundromat near you!
