Abbott Elementary icon Sheryl Lee Ralph shares important message for older folks & respecting people's pronouns
We love a strong ally here!
In today's world, as we all strive to respect each other's boundaries and identities, it's crucial that we, as a community, actively listen and put in the effort to ensure everyone feels heard and respected.
Abbott Elementarystar Sheryl Lee Ralph took to Instagram this week to emphasize the importance of respecting people and their pronouns, with her message directly aimed at folks of older generations.
"Some of the things you used to say and do, it's not going to work right now," she began.
"These children want to be called by their name," Ralph continued. "They want to be respected with their pronouns. I know it might be hard for some folks when they may not look like a she or he to you — they want to be called they, him, or he. Call them by their name."
We love to see our girl, an done of our fave celebrity icons, doing the work and spreading the good word!
