Sophia Bush & Ashlyn Harris Are Reportedly Dating Following Their Respective Divorces

It looks like love is blooming for two recent divorcees.

Actress Sophia Bush and soccer star Ashlyn Harris, who each announced they were getting a divorce from each of their partners recently, have started dating.

According to People, the two went on their first date a couple of weeks ago.

“After being friends for years, and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago,” a source told People. “This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”

Page Six reports that the two appeared together on a panel at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in June and that things sparked quickly from there.

Bush has long been a fan of women’s soccer, and along with other actresses including Natalie Portman, Uzo Aduba, Jessica Chastain, America Ferrera, Eva Longoria, and Jennifer Garner, is an investor in Los Angeles’ NWSL team Angel City Football Club.

Bush and her husband of 13 months, Grant Hughes, divorced in August, but the two remain friends and will continue to run their nonprofit together.

Harris filed for divorce from her wife of four years, soccer player Ali Krieger in September. The couple had adopted two children together, and plan on signing a parenting plan. “Although it’s new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago and they have been living apart since the summer,” People’s source said.

Before Hughes, Bush was shortly married to her One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray from 2005-2006.
