Nope, that man the "Angel Baby" singer posted on his Instagram account is not his new man.

True

UPDATE: Shortly after originally posting, Troye Sivan updated the caption of his Instagram post with Brett Ruttenberg, stating the nature of their relationship.

"Hard launch (as publicist and bestie)," Sivan edited the caption, confirming that Ruttenberg is not his new romantic partner.

Did Troye Sivan just reveal his new BF to the world in a social media post?

Taking to Instagram today, the "Bloom" and "Angel Baby" singer posted a pic of himself (in an all-denim outfit, btw) getting cozy on a white couch with a man named Brett Ruttenberg, who he also tagged in the post.

"Hard launch," he simply captioned the pic, playing on the "soft launching" social media trend where people slowly tease the identity of their new significant other to their friends and followers.

Although not much context (or anything informational really) was given in the post, people in the comments were quick to wish Troye and Brett congrats.

"Nice top, Troye," one user wrote.

"We love a hard launch," wrote another.

Though Sivan has yet to comment or elaborate any further on the exact nature of their relationship, we always love seeing love in all forms, so we're definitely happy for the two of them!

And for those inquiring, Ruttenberg is on Instagram, @brettrutt. See some selected snaps of Troye's new man below.
