"Not the bore worms!"
Ts Madison is, once again, giving us a quote that will not leave our heads and that is destined to live on in meme infamy!
Madison is one of the most iconic voices in queer culture today, and now she has a new viral soundbite thanks to a conversation with Drag Race legend Katya about classic campy movies on the Bald and the Beautiful podcast.Ts Madison and Katya were talking about their shared love of Dune, Austin Butler, and the Bene Gesserit, when Madison mentioned that she loved the old movie version as well.
"I do like the '80s one, the original," she said.
"I loved it too, it's a great version," Katya replied. "If you watch it without the sound, it's great. Because the acting is a little…"
That's when Madison confessed that she also loves the movie Flash Gordon, another classic campy 1980s science-fiction film.
When Katya admitted she hasn't watched it, Ts Madison started quoting the film, giving us another instantly iconic soundbite from her.
"Girl, you haven't watched Flash Gordon? You are a drag queen. You must watch Flash Gordon," she said before launching into a quote from the movie.
"Not the bore worms! Not the bore worms!" she seductively shouted.
"What are the bore worms!?" Katya asked, for all of us.
"The bore worms are the worms and stuff," Madison said. "Not the bore worms! Unhhhhh. Everything is so sexual and… Flash! Gordon!"
According to the Flash Gordon Wiki, bore worms "are Mongo creatures used to torture prisoners," and specifically were used by the villain Klytus to threaten Princess Aura in the scene Ts Madison is quoting.
Mongo is the name of the rogue planet controlled by Ming the Merciless that Flash Gordon traveled to.
Now, we can't get the bore worms out of our minds! Spill your coffee? Blame the bore worms! Running late in traffic? Not the bore worms! Dumped by your boyfriend? It's the bore worms, baby!
Thank the bore worms for Ts Madison!
