An upcoming doc, Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution, shows how LGBTQ+ history was shaped by stand-up comedy.

New key art of an upcoming Netflix documentary unveils the most star-studded lineup in LGBTQ+ history.

Lily Tomlin, Sandra Bernhard, Wanda Sykes, Eddie Izzard, Hannah Gadsby, Tig Notaro, Rosie O'Donnell, Margaret Cho, Bob the Drag Queen, and Trixie Mattel are among the headliners featured in Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution.

Directed by Page Hurwitz, Outstanding is the first feature-length doc to showcase the history of queer stand-up comedy.

In addition to funny performances from these figures, the film draws from archival footage and interviews to trace how comics have been using their mics to fight for queer acceptance over the course of five decades.

As the key art's logline reads, "Changing the world, one joke at a time."

Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution premieres June 18 on Netflix. See the new key art above and watch the teaser for the doc in the video below.
