This story is brought to you by our partners at McDonald’s.
This is the second part of a two-part video series. Check out the first part of the conversation HERE.
Previously on Crafting Connections, Actress and Activist Jillian Mercado, Chef and Television Personality Ronnie Woo, and Photographer and Author Maxwell Poth connected over cherished memories of their grandmothers while crafting and enjoying McDonald's favorites. In part one, we saw heartwarming stories come to life as they reminisced about the unforgettable moments spent with their grandmothers.
In the second episode, Jillian, Ronnie, and Maxwell reveal their finished canvases, each honoring their grandmas with vibrant and colorful collages. As they unveil their artwork, the trio shares the touching stories and inspirations behind their creations.
Maxwell Poth's canvas is a beautiful tribute, featuring shades of pink, colorful French fries, and numerous drawings of pigs—his grandma's favorite animal. Maxwell also included photos capturing moments with his grandmother throughout his life. "As a photographer, I have one photo up here that I find really moving," Maxwell explains. "It’s just us looking out at the mountains and at this beautiful scene. It’s a candid moment, and looking at that photo really does remind me of the wonderful moments I had with her."
So, in honor of all grandmothers out there and the memories with her, try the limited-edition Grandma McFlurry available at participating locations today! The Grandma McFlurry is reminiscent of grandma's favorite candies hidden in her purse, evoking the same comfort and nostalgia as the beautiful canvases created in
Crafting Connections.
