This Is Why Some Fans Think Miss Vanjie Might Return for Drag Race’s Finale

RuPaul's Drag Race

Why else would RuPaul tweet this photo?

Vanessa "Miss Vanjie" Mateo is the queen that just won't quit!

On Thursday, RuPaul sent fans of her namesake show RuPaul's Drag Race, when she tweeted a photo intended to be promotional. "'Give me my robe, put on my crown,'" she wrote. "I have immortal longings in me'~Shakespeare THE CROWNING Drag Race Tonight 9pm." And while that's well enough, the image she shared with the post featured five contestants. Not four, five. Yvie Oddly, A'Keria C. Davenport, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Silky Nutmeg Ganache.

Last we saw Mateo on the show (well before that reunion where she broke our hearts and announced the death of her romance with Hytes) she was cracking the world up with the show exit of a lifetime.

"Let me go ahead and get my little stance," she said walking to the back of the runway, causing everyone one set to chuckle. "Miss Vanessa Vanjie Mothafuckin Mateo! Thank you, love ya" She said, walking backwards, essentially updating her exit from season 10 that caused her to go viral, before walking offstage ... for a moment.

"I might come back, don't turn off the spotlight yet!" she says walking backwards, back onto the runway. "I might come back baby! I can come back again and be like heeeeyyy, I'm at the finale too. Y'all never know, bitch they might spin the wheel and land on me again bitch!" Was it all a foreshadowing?"

We all know Ru loves a little (or a lot of) stunts and gaggery so it wouldn't be beyond the realm of comprehension. Sure, it would be a "for the first time in Drag Race herstory" but we have those like every episode at this point. The feat would tie her with Shangela for the most re-entries into the competition. And to be honest, I would like to see it.

Or maybe it's just Ru being lazy and using the album artwork for her track "Queens Everywhere" for the wrong promo post.
