Since season one of RuPaul's Drag Race, the series has had what fans affectionately (or maybe thirstily) have called the "trade of the season" -- and we really do mean season one, anyone remember Rebecca Glasscock and Jade Sotomayor? For season 14, while there were certainly a few cuties in the mix, if we're seriously considering "trade of the season" it's almost unanimously going to one Alyssa Hunter.
While the Puerto Rican performer went home relatively early, she developed quite the fan base. And while this certainly had quite a bit to do with what she looks like in drag (have you seen the lip sync performances from before the show) what she looked like out of drag certainly didn't hurt.
Last week, Hunter announced that she had dyed her hair platinum blond.
"Life is too short to have boring hair," she wrote to Instagram. "Thanks to my talented friend [Johnny Torres] for this amazing work, I loved the result. If you want a radical change, the perfect place is [Johnny Torres Salon.]"
Hunter's look out of drag is so popular that she maintains an Instagram just as her boy persona. Under her given name of Joshua Enrique, she has racked up over 15,000 followers. On it, she even refers to herself as the "trade" of the season.
